A Special, Herbaceous Green Tea...
Boasting vibrant green leaves with a beautiful sheen, this rare tea is fresh, mild, and sweet...its aroma brings to mind a delicate spring day.
Zhu Ye Qing is harvested on Mount Emei, the tallest of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains and the site of the first Buddhist temple in China, from only the budding leaves of the plant.
Steep this tea in a clear vessel and enjoy seeing the leaves stand vertically in the broth as the sweet essence emerges from the buds. The buds will become plump and will grow to their size at the time of plucking.
Once softened many steepings can be enjoyed from the ingredient-rich buds.
