Tiny buds are harvested of course by hand one-at-a-time taking over 6,000 tiny buds to make one kilogram of the renowned Chinese Green Tea.
Called Bird's Tongue because of it's small & delicate shape. The buds will swell and become plump in your infuser (or glass, see below). At first they take a little coaxing to begin yielding their Chinese Green Tea nectar, but once they do, you are in for many steepings of amazing tea soup.
The best way to steep this tea is in a clear glass. Add the tealeaves, then the water. The leaves of this Chinese Green Tea will swirl in the water and soon begin to align vertically in the glass with their leaf tips standing straight up as they begin to ooze the nectar you are about to enjoy...
As the buds begin to sink, they remain vertical, and you sip from the top...then add more water and enjoy the experience all over again...a bit of Tea Heaven...
