Silky down-covered fleshy buds steep plump and repeatedly producing cup-after-cup of full bodied light golden tea broth.
This tea is harvested in the mountains of Yunnan province and is born of the genetic material of the renowned adapted and developed cultivars famous from this region.
Known as "Mother Nature's Primeval Teagarden" this historic tea region is perhaps most well known for the Puerh teas produced there. White Pu'er Bud utilizes the technique originally developed for Bai Hao Yin Zhen (Silver Needles) in Fujian province but incorporates the leaf material of the Yunnan cultivar.
For white tea drinkers this selection is a solid 10. The beauty starts with the color, shape and uniformity of the dry leaf and transfers to the pleasing cup experience of the rich and flavorful cup with silky mouthfeel.
Outstanding aftertaste that lingers between sips and cups...
