Nan Nuo Shan (Mountain) is located in the region XiShuangBaNa renowned for the teas that adopted the name of the largest near-by city Pu'er city.
It was here there, mountain villagers, China's ethnic minorities would harvest leaves from the ancient trees and bring them to the market to trade for life's staples...rice, salt, fish etc.
Like many of our other Qing or Raw Pu'er teas, the Nan Nuo represents tea as it was in the early days that people started steeping whole-leaf tealeaves to create a soup or broth.
