For more than 50 years, Phil & Judy have poured our hearts into researching and curating one of the finest collections of loose-leaf teas anywhere - over 300 varieties, each selected with care. For nearly 20 of those years, Madison has been our home, and you, our customers, have been the heart of our story.

Phil and Judy have always dreamed of something bigger: educating a wider world about the health benefits of tea and the joy of the tea lifestyle. It's a dream we've carried for years, and one that has always come with a difficult question — how do we grow without leaving the community that built us?

We're excited to share that we've found the answer, through a new partnership with Jackie Davalos and her brand, Bon Courage Boulangerie.  We made this announcement a few weeks ago.

Here's what this means for you:

• Beginning early 2027, Savvy Tea Gourmet's retail presence in Madison will be operated under Bon Courage Boulangerie, our new partner known for their wonderful French pastries. Jackie Davalos is currently undergoing intensive, hands-on tea training with Phil so she can continue helping you find the perfect tea for your needs — right there in the Bon Courage Boulangerie store.
• The beverage service you love isn't going anywhere. You can still stop in for your favorite hot or iced Savvy Tea Gourmet tea and our customer-favorite tea matcha smoothies — now paired with delicious, freshly baked French pastries to enjoy in-store or take home.
• The tea itself won't change. All our artisan loose-leaf teas, blends, and herbal infusions served at Bon Courage Boulangerie will be supplied directly from our off-site distribution center, so you're guaranteed the same quality and care you've trusted for 20 years.
• Online ordering continues through Savvy Tea Gourmet — and we'd love you to make it part of your routine, for all sizes, especially for our bulk 250g sizes. Bon Courage Boulangerie will not have the capability to pack different sizes in-store. Order online at www.SavvyTeaGourmet.com for convenient in-store pickup in Madison, or have your tea shipped straight to your door.
• Current Subscribers will continue to have their orders fulfilled by Savvy Tea Gourmet from our new off-site distribution center.  Enrolling in subscriptions guarantees that you will also get your favorite tea when you want and never run out. Subscriptions help us plan our inventory needs, so we don’t disappoint you.
• Your loyalty points & gift cards will be transferred for use with on-line orders only through Savvy Tea Gourmet, so be sure you have created an online profile for a smooth transition.  Your points will not be valid in store once this transition has taken place in 2027. 
• Virtual Tea Tastings continue, with new workshops in development. We're also working on bringing Savvy Tea Gourmet teas to similar partnerships in new markets around the country, so more people can discover the tea lifestyle we've spent a lifetime perfecting.

This isn't a goodbye to Madison. It's an evolution — one that lets us dedicate more time to our lifelong mission: sharing the healthy tea lifestyle and helping people get the very best out of every cup.
